Commissions

In 1977, I was commissioned by Land Use Consultants to design the map of the 1977 Silver Jubilee Walkway with John Shipperbottom. In 1982, William Collins commissioned me to co-author and illustrate the book called The Seasons, twelve walks in Britain.

After seeing an exhibition of my garden paintings in 1983 the GPO commissioned me to design four stamps celebrating the history of gardening. I went on to design the first day cover and the franks.

Other commissions include Herbs and Spices published by Frances Lincoln, a set of drawings for the Daffodil Society, a series of paintings for Lord Harewood of the grounds of Harewood House.
